Ph.D. student of the Department of Pathology Anastasiia DENYSENKO took
part in the 7th Pannonian Pathology Congress on March 7-9, 2024, in Vienna,
Austria.
This event occurs once every two years in one of the six countries of the
historical region of Pannonia (Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary,
Slovakia, and Slovenia). It has become an important event for pathologists not only in
Central Europe but also in the whole world.
This year’s congress had a diverse and rich program that included pulmonary
pathology, gastrointestinal tract, skin, renal, gynecological pathology, and more.
Anastasiіa Denysenko presented a poster report based on the results of her
dissertation research as part of the Henry Rappaport scholarship from the Austrian
Society of Clinical and Molecular Pathology, together with the Austrian branch of the
International Academy of Pathology.
Many meetings were held with pathologists’ foreign colleagues to develop
further cooperation.
