Students of the Academic and Research Medical Institute of Sumy State University – Anastasiia Shyrai (group 001) and Kseniia Smoliar (group 306) – represented our university at the BIMCO 2026 International Medical Congress in Chernivtsi.
The students’ business trip took place within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine research project: “Automated workstation of a pathologist based on artificial intelligence solutions” (state registration number: 0126U000780).
At the congress, the students presented poster reports on a literature review of the possibilities of artificial intelligence in pathomorphological diagnostics of endocrine and gynecological pathology.
“It was an incredibly valuable experience! We not only presented our research but also learned a lot about digital transformations in medicine. We especially enjoyed the workshops and the opportunity to meet interesting people. We sincerely thank the department for such an opportunity! And the charming city of Chernivtsi left unforgettable impressions in our hearts,” share Anastasiia and Kseniia.
