On September 23rd, 2017 the ICMA Sumy organized a medical debate competition which featured the senior and junior category as they debated on the legalization of Euthanasia and Abortion respectively.
The junior category was between Kharkiv and Sumy. It was held in the Bankovskaya academy library of Sumy state University and the winners and best student of the debate were awarded. The judges were our medical director Dr Andrii Loboda, Mohammed, Abraham Usman, Dr Jim Peipon (head of Ukraine medical outreach). All participants of the event stressed that it was one of the most fascinating and educative competition in their own words. They had splendid time during interactive and coffee break session and stayed throughout the event.
It is the first time that such event is held and the debate organizing committee chairman Oto Amah was impressed at the outcome. Also everyone enjoyed the lecture presentation by Dr Nwokiea Obinna, a presentation on euthanasia.
