On February 3, 2026, a meeting of the Approbation Board was held to discuss and examine the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the speciality 222 – Medicine. The PhD student of the Department of Pathology, Lakhtaryna Ruslana, presented the results of her dissertation work on the topic “Integrated Diagnostics of Breast Tumors: Mammographic and Pathohistological Criteria Using Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, performed under the scientific supervision of the Head of the Department of Pathology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Roman Moskalenko. The presented results demonstrated the soundness of the scientific approach, the innovative nature of the research and its significant practical significance in the context of modern pathohistology and radiology. The Department of Pathology continues to support the scientific initiatives of applicants aimed at implementing the latest technologies and forming a high level of training for future scientists.
